Contract Manager
DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading Group in the development of industrial infrastructures and the provision of services, and one of the major players in the renewable energy sector in Spain and Latin America. At this moment, our client is seeking an experienced Contract Manager with a background in engineering to support EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects from their central office in Madrid. The selected candidate will be responsible for contract review, monitoring, and management, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze contractual risks and opportunities.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and internal procedures.
- Participate in dispute resolution processes, including arbitration, mediation, and conciliation.
- Review and comment on contract terms, propose alternatives, and oversee contract-related communications.
- Negotiate claims related to timelines, costs, and liability limitations.
- Review and update documentation and change proposals.
- Prepare and negotiate claims with clients concerning time extensions, cost adjustments, contracts, and amendments.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Engineering (Technical or Higher).
- High proficiency in both English and French.
- Availability to work on-site in Madrid.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management for EPC projects.
