Sales Assistant

ROLE
This role is focused on lead generation, client engagement, and sales operations support. It does not involve direct sales ownership or commission-based targets. All leads are provided by the company, and KPIs are not tied to sales performance.
The Sales Development Representative / Sales Assistant will play an important role in supporting business growth through inbound and outbound lead generation, client engagement campaigns, and operational support. The role will work closely with sales, operations, marketing, and technical teams to help generate and qualify marketing qualified leads and sales qualified leads. The position involves frequent phone communication, market research, database maintenance, and follow-up activities with prospects, clients, and partners.
The ideal candidate is proactive, resilient, well-organized, and comfortable handling repeated outreach, rejection, and challenging conversations with prospects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation and Client Engagement
· Conduct outbound calls to target clients across selected verticals.
· Support inbound and outbound lead generation campaigns.
· Quality leads based on provided criteria, including BANT qualification.
· Arrange meetings for qualified prospects with the relevant sales or business development teams.
· Follow up with prospects, clients, and partners after campaigns or events.
Client Research and Prospecting
· Conduct LinkedIn and market research based on guidance from the Business Development Manager.
· Identify high-potential clients in target markets and industries.
· Prepare prospect lists with clear and compelling reasons for outreach.
· Understand the company’s value proposition across different vertical markets.
· Support long-term client nurturing and relationship-building activities.
Event and Campaign Support
· Support client and partner event registration activities in Central Europe.
· Conduct event invitation calls and reminder calls.
· Follow up with participants after events to support lead qualification.
· Help maintain accurate records of campaign and event activities.
Sales Operations and Data Maintenance
· Maintain and cleanse local client and partner databases.
· Ensure client and partner information is accurate and up to date.
· Support sales and marketing teams with operational tasks related to lead management.
· Track activities and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
1–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sales support, lead generation, or SDR roles.
Previous experience in the IT or technology sector is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Comfortable making frequent outbound calls and engaging with prospects.
Strong resilience and persistence when handling rejection or challenging conversations.
Good research, organizational, and follow-up skills.
Ability to work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams.
Familiarity with AI tools or AI-related technology is an advantage.
Educational background in technology, computer science, or a related field is a plus.
