Treasury IT Business Analyst

THE COMPANY
Our client is a recruitment consultancy specializing in IT, Finance, HR, and Digital Technology. We are seeking a Treasury IT Business Analyst to join a fully remote project for our client. The role is aimed at a nearshore profile based in Europe, with strong English skills and solid experience within Treasury environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather, analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Support solution design and validate technical deliverables against business requirements.
Work closely with both business and technical stakeholders across Treasury and IT.
Support the migration of a legacy treasury solution from SAC to Databricks.
Contribute to the transformation of existing treasury databases into a modern data environment.
Support the migration of legacy solutions, data collections, controls and client deliverables from existing servers into a controlled enterprise platform.
Contribute to the design and implementation of a Treasury Management Workflow Tool aimed at improving operational efficiency and governance.
Coordinate and support testing activities, including validation of delivered solutions.
Identify and resolve functional and delivery issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Work autonomously on complex assignments while maintaining close coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Ensure successful delivery and alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
· 7–10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
· At least 3 years of experience within Treasury.
· Strong understanding of Treasury processes and business requirements.
· Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (TMS).
· Proven experience translating business requirements into detailed specifications.
· Experience supporting solution design, testing and validation activities.
· Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work autonomously in complex project environments.
· High level of English.
· Ability to work effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
DESIREABLE
· Basic understanding of Databricks.
· Basic knowledge of data architecture concepts.
· Experience with legacy-to-modern data platform migrations would be highly valuable.
· Familiarity with enterprise data environments and governance processes.
