ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading tower company in Saudi Arabia, undertaking a Data Governance Solution Implementation Project. This initiative aims to align with SDAIA's NDMO standards, which resemble the DAMA framework, ensuring compliance with local data governance regulations.

ROLE

Our client is hiring a Senior Data Specialist to manage the Data Governance Assessment Framework post-implementation. The role involves working with INFORMATICA, ERWIN, and GUARDIAN tools to ensure effective data governance and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the data governance framework after project implementation.

• Manage data-related activities using INFORMATICA, ERWIN, and GUARDIAN.

• Support logical data model design in collaboration with vendors.

• Monitor data classification, metadata management, and security policies.

• Ensure compliance with NDMO, GDPR, PDPL, and internal governance requirements.

• Conduct data quality assessments and track compliance metrics.

• Work with the assessment vendor to ensure continuous improvement.

• Provide detailed compliance and assessment reports for regulatory review.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or data management.

• Expertise in INFORMATICA, ERWIN, and GUARDIAN.

• Strong understanding of NDMO, GDPR, PDPL, and international data standards.

• Experience in telecom or large-scale data governance projects.

• Knowledge of metadata management, data classification, and security policies.

• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
